What are my chances? I am currently a junior in high school, with a weighted GPA of 3.75 and a 3.35 unweighted, I will have completed the following AP's: Physics B, Calculus BC, US history, CompSci A, English, Biology, Statistics, Econ & Gov, and maybe 1 more)

I have taken honors English every year, if that matters and I've played soccer every year as well.

I know my GPA is kind of low, but what would be a good test scores for the ACT and SAT? And any tips!? :O

It depends which school you are applying to. So far what I can accumulate from various research is that the College of Arts and Science is overall easier to get into than the other schools. The one that has about an acceptance rate of 10% to 20% is S.I. Newhouse. That one goes beyond just grades. If you have a good extracurricular background then that will really help.

I received a $300,000 scholarship at Syracuse and got accepted into all the schools I applied for which includes Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, and Cornell WITH SCHOLARSHIPS. So just believe in yourself and have a strong background and you will get in.

I'm debating whether to email the school or not. I don't want to sound like an ass but I want to make sure my application is alright, I sent in all the materials but my guidance counselor didn't send in my Mid-Year report and Counselor Recommendation till late last month through the CommonApp.

I'm really nervous because apparently admissions decisions were supposed to be out March 15th and fin aid letters roll out March 21st and I still don't know whether I got accepted or not. Anyone else still waiting or has their decisions yet?

I doubt I have a 100.0% chance of getting into Syracuse. I'm not trying to "be a downer" or anything, I know I have a good chance but 100.0%....heck no.

of 1140 applications, only 121 were ever updated to include if they were accepted or reject, you can assume that since 106 said they were accepted, but only 15 updated to say they were rejected that it is weighted heavily towards acceptnce because such a large number of people never updated.

My chance of getting into this school is higher than getting into my state university.
