Villanova University Discussion
I just changed my application information for Villanova from regular decision to early action; my chances went up by about 30%. Is this fairly accurate?
My daughter has a 66% chance of getting accepted - how do you interpret that, James? Is it like a 2/3 roll of the dice or is it pretty likely she will get accepted?
98.3% chance with a 3.5/2240. Lol there's something wrong with this site
i applied early, how do i get a mynova portal account?
2050 on the sats. 3.93/4 weighted gpa. chances of getting in?
I found an editorial online from The Villanovian that talked about Nova accept/waitlist #s. For 1,595 seats Villanova has accepted 5,400 students and waitlisted another 4,000. Holy Cow!
93% chance and was waitlisted. What is with all this crap? I'll give them a call.
I was waitlisted even though my guidance counselors assured me I would get in! Villanova is my first choice and I will send them more information to help get in! Any suggestions on what that might be?
I was wait-listed with a 94.1% chance. Villanova is my first choice, and I honestly thought I would get in despite my lower SAT scores. What can I do to boost my chances?
perhaps if you have been waitlisted but it is your top choice, you should let the university know that and any subsequent materials that they request. some school practice strategic waitlisting, as James has suggested, so those of you with strong scores aren't being admitted until they know you won't reject them.
Wait-listed with an 87.3% chance and well with-in or above the SAT ranges.
We see waitlist behavior split into two groups: one is schools that waitlist people on the academic borderline. The other tend to be schools like WashU, which waitlist people that otherwise look like sure-thing admissions. Perhaps Villanova falls into the latter category. Either way, best of luck.
it says i have an 86% can someone legit chance me. i will chance back
There is an error with Villanova's chances..
Dont get too cocky. lol
i have a 2.92 with 21 ACT, it says i have a 100% chance of getting in. this makes no sense
