Those of you who got into engineering, when you go to the "accept/decline offer" page on your portal, what does it say under "program?"
Accepted! Electrical Engineering; Science National Honor Society, 4.15 WGPA, 27 ACT/1810 SAT.
Materials Engineering; 1800 SAT; Varsity Football and Baseball Captain:D today is good. 35%
I had a 25% chance, and I got in today! 3.27 W GPA, and a 1730 SAT. Got into the engineering school too. haha
I had 52.2% chance of getting in and I just got my acceptance message today.
I am a junior and i have taken spanish 1 and 2 but i know 3 is recommended. Is the third year as important as they say???
I hear they hardly care about ECs. The app didn't even have us provide a list of our ECs. Not sure if that helps or hurts.
Accepted with 3.8 UW and 3.97 W on their scale. 29 ACT -Biochem
Would a 3.68 GPA and 2100 SAT with a sociology major get me in?
Your odds look pretty good; certainly better than average. Here's a scatterplot zoomed in on your range:
congrats on the acceptance! i much prefer it when we are wrong in that direction (ie the computer predictions rejection but you actually get accepted). should help make the predictions better for students next year :)
Very Nice, Congratulation!! I'd say things are looking very good for you!!
I got accepted and it said 15.6%. What now mychance.net!!!
thepolkadot, you're welcome and congrats!! It's a great school! I am highly considering it.
Thanks, because of your post I checked it and found out I got in!!! :) I'm so happy!

4.4 GPA. 2130 SAT. 730 Literature, 720 Biology, 710 Math II; SAT IIs. 9 AP classes, two honors. Chanced at 90%+ from parchment and REJECTED from SLO's ME program today.
It doesn't take applied majors into account at all.
You are not the first i have heard this happen to with this major. ME is the most rigorous and hardest Engineering major to get into.
