About Me:

I'm a junior at Mankato West High School. I have a strong interest in business, which has led me to become involved in my high school's DECA chapter. Additionally, I really like studying history and law. My AP U.S. History class, which I took my sophomore year, was the best class I've ever taken. My interest in history has led me to become an officer in my school's History Club, while my political side is expressed through activities like Debate Team, Student Council, and Speech. My involvement in History Club led me to the National History Day Competition, where my team and I made it through regionals and state to qualify for the national tournament. I do enjoy english as well. I'm excited to take AP Language and Composition this year, and I'm already improving my writing in the class. As a whole, I really enjoy the learning aspect of a high school education and take initiative to use this learning in my extracurricular activities.
