Parchment Student Profile

Perhaps what I have always been most passionate about in my life is service; committing myself to what I believe in, the people with whom my loyalties lie, and putting forth my strongest efforts into helping others. Over the years I have strived to attain the warm, zealous feeling of satisfaction within my soul that comes with the servitude of others. After acquiring over four hundred hours of community service, I have truly come to realize that assisting others is what I want to do for the rest of my life, from participating in mission trips in periphery countries to enhancing the education of young people on a daily basis as an English teacher. I have always found myself to be very fortunate, and appreciate my many blessings beyond description. To show my gratitude, I’ve been compelled to do my part in my community, from building oyster reefs to teaching elementary aged children in a cooking class. Upon attending college, I plan to take my services to the next level, so that I can place my best efforts forward into making a meaningful impact on this world. If everyone played their part in society, its structure would run far more smoothly, as a system maintaining a healthier state of harmony between its countless members then what presently exists; and if everyone played their part, society would transform into a haven where those who extend their most paramount efforts may unite as one body and truly make a difference.
