Chance me?

Consider taking an ACT or SAT prep class that meets on site somewhere and has online supplimental practice tests. If you can boost your SAT to 1650 or higher and/or score a 25 or better on the ACT composite, it will result in a step change increase in your chances of admission at many of the more selective schools on your list.
Generally, here is how I would interpret the Parchment prediction numbers: * Above 90% - Safe school (you should be granted admission if your application is complete) * 60 % to 90 % - Core school ( 1 in 2 chance of admission) * 30% to 59% - Reach school (1 in 4 chance of getting in) * 29% and below - Big reach school (admission would be like winning a lottery)
If your GPA is actually reflective of how good of a student you are, then you should have no problem bringing your SAT score WAY up if you commit to studying hard to improve your score (which should probably include taking an SAT prep course if possible).

I am a junior and have a weighted GPA of 3.9 but didn't do very well on SAT (390-Reading, 550-Math, 480-Writing). I am taking the SAT again soon and taking the ACT in the fall. Can you tell me the chances of getting into the colleges on my profile?
