I just put in SAT II scores and it did not seem to change chances at all. I guess they really aren't given much weight for admissions? If not, what was the point in taking them?

Some colleges do look at them to differentiate between qualified applicants in their selection process. Also, the scores may potentially be used by colleges to determine placement level in courses.
