Growing up surrounded by educators left a lasting impression on Heather, about the importance of fostering lifelong learning. That influence led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from The Ohio State University.
Heather has remained in the field of education for the past 17 years, but transitioned into marketing and EdTech after seeing the impact technology was making in and out of the classroom. Heather has managed across five key areas within marketing: marketing operations, data and analytics, strategic planning, campaign execution and value positioning.
In 2013, Heather left Blackboard to join the Parchment team as the Director of Marketing. It was a natural fit with credentials being the currency of education. Heather enjoys spending each day helping Parchment and its members turn lifelong learning into opportunities. When she isn’t thinking about the latest in marketing, Heather can usually be found at an ice rink watching her two sons play hockey.
