Parchment, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of Parchment Send with Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0. The Parchment Send Transcript Automation Integration utilizes web services and Oracle’s PeopleSoft PeopleTools Integration Broker to authenticate students in real time, notify them of any overdue fees that may prevent them from requesting a transcript, and then automatically inserts their request into Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. An electronic PDF transcript is generated to fulfill the student’s request and returned to Parchment for processing.
To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. The Parchment Send Transcript Automation Integration provides a convenient solution for both administrators and students. Students have 24/7 access to the Parchment dashboard to see where their transcript request is within the fulfillment process. Parchment Send reduces the resources – both in time and cost – many administrators are currently incurring through the fulfillment of transcript requests on paper.
“Oracle Validated Integration reinforces member confidence in Parchment’s integration. This further confirms that Parchment is robust, produces meaningful benefit to the Registrar’s office, and performs as it was designed,” said Matthew Pittinsky, Parchment Chief Executive Officer. “Colleges and universities currently using Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions have the ability to manage their business in a more complete, online fashion. From a reduction in resources to an improvement in student service, Parchment Send provides a platform to meet the needs of the administrator and the student.”
“Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between Parchment Send and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0 is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said Kevin O’Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. “For solutions deployed on-premise, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”
For more than ten years, Parchment has made it easier to request, verify and share education and professional credentials electronically. By moving the process online, Parchment provides a means for students to efficiently exchange the important data necessary to turn their credentials into opportunities.
