Our History
Parchment (then, Docufide) pioneers electronic transcript delivery from high schools to college admissions offices.
We begin our first statewide eTranscript exchange with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.
We launch Parchment Receive to help admissions offices more efficiently collect and process eTranscripts and other admissions documents.
We partner with Naviance to open our exchange network for delivery of electronic admissions documents to colleges. We expand our eTranscript services to colleges and expand our receiver network to graduate schools, licensing boards, & professional organizations.
We launch the Parchment Learner Profile, which provides learners with College Tools to research and compare colleges.
We introduce Parchment Award, a single platform to issue transcripts, diplomas, certificates & badges.
We launch Credential Builder, the ability to create and issue Comprehensive Learner Records. We expand internationally with Digitary, serving Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK & Ireland.
We expand into Pathways solutions, offering course and credit solutions for dual enrollment, course sharing and transfer articulation.
Instructure, the leading learning ecosystem and maker of Canvas, acquires Parchment, taking us one step closer to delivering on the promise of a lifelong learner record and removing barriers to learner mobility pathways within and across K-12, higher education, and the workforce.
