What are my chances of getting into Stanford, USC, or Vanderbilt? I am a Junior in high school, some of my stats are: GPA's Unweighted and Weighted respectively Sophomore GPA: 4.0, 4.73 Junior GPA: (not finished but learned how my school calculates GPA so figured out at the end of the year I will have): 4.0, 4.78 Senior GPA (expected, not finished yet): 4.0, 4.78. I am also currently valedictorian of my school and expect it to stay that way. SAT: 2000 flat ACT: 32 Clubs: Key Club, National Honors Society, Generation Green, Ping Pong Hours of Community Service: 230, I volunteer at the local outpatient physical therapy center and help the PT's. Varsity Sports: Cross Country, Soccer freshman year team captain, Alpine Ski Racing, Track I unfortunately could not participate in ANY sports my Sophomore year except cross country because I severely tore my hamstring tendons in both legs running cross country and the recovery took over a year, I can not do any sports until winter of Junior year, I am hoping that colleges won't look at it as if I just quit sports for a year and they will recognize it was because of the injury. Some highlights of sports accomplishments is in my Alpine Ski Racing. I qualified and raced in the Junior Olympics for alpine two years in a row and was ranked both years top 15 in the nation for my age group. I don't know that the colleges I am applying to will care about that, because they aren't big skiing colleges, but I am hoping. Some college classes I have taken at the local community college while in High School are Spanish 3, Physics, and I will take Math 107 (Calculus 3) next year (my Senior year) because I am in Calculus BC this year as a Junior. I realize my testing is very weak for the schools I listed. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Hi, I am in the top 20% of my class. I have a 3.6 unweighted GPA out of 4.0. and a 3.83 weighted. I am an eagle scout and I have shadowed a doctor and a dentist. I have am in the math and history honor societies at my school.I have tutored over 100 hours for Kiwanas club ( a nationally recognized club for volunteering); however, I am not sure if that is really important. I have played Varsity Lacrosse for my school my sophomore year and had to take junior year off, but I will continue my senior year. I have done a ton of community service ranging from suicide prevention at school to being a counselor at a day camp in my school district. I have taken 3 AP courses so far and am taking 3 more next year, and I have taken 7 honors/accelerated learning courses so far. I have a 29 on my ACT plus writing, and I am a Missouri Resident of Asian/India descent. Do you think I have a chance of being accepted?

What should I do to raise my chances of getting in? I have a 3.9 GPA out of 4.15, I have been part of MUN for three years, participated in numerous conferences, and founded the European Youth Parliament at my school. I take IB courses, and have a predicted about 39-40. My SAT would be around 1950-2050. I have also won academic awards, and have gone to various seminars world wide regarding democracy. I did my Extended Essay in World Studies, in particular women's rights in Pakistan. Do you think I have a fairly decent chance of getting in? I would be applying for International Relations, in particular, International Economics. Also took two SAT subject tests Italian (800) and Spanish (680). I am planning on taking the ACT as well.
Does anyone know how hard the occupational therapy undergraduate program is?
Please please chance me! 3.75 unweighted, 4.14 weighted, white but first to go to college, I swim and play water polo, I volunteer at a hospital and do a ton of church work, and I have a 2040 SAT and 31 ACT. UW GPA: 3.59, weighted: 4.0, 91 out of 497 (top 20%) in my class, SAT is 1890 (taking again), ACT is 26 (taking again). AP Bio score is 3,
I have been captain and vice president of debate which I've been a part of for four years, I was a state qualifier for Congressional Debate for two years, finalist for one of them, National alternate in Congress and International Extemporaneous. In DECA, I went to State and placed 2nd in Restaurant and Food Service Management and went to Internationals, I went to state in Mock Trial, I am in Student Council as a representative. I have done Model UN for two years including this year, I have volunteer hours, and I have a published essay on the topic of racism and inclusion in the International Journal of Critical Pedagogy.
UW GPA: 3.8 weighted: 4.0 SAT(not superscored): 2090 (retaking) lots of APs. Lots of musical instruments/ athletics. Hardly any volunteer hours...any chance?
I don't understand your weighted and unweighted GPA of 4.00 with a 20% class rank.
Class rank at most high schools is based on a weighted gpa. Usually AP classes award a bonus point - so an A in an AP class counts as a 5.0 (some schools even go as high as 6.0 for an A). Therefore, someone with a 3.7 uw gpa could easily have a 4.1 weighted gpa and a higher class rank that the 4.0 student that did not take any AP classes.
Can anyone please chance me??? Just a quick one will suffice. Thanks.
Hey, Larry. Cool that the company you spam for "helped you get into UCLA this year with very sub-par grades" even though your parchment profile says you entered school in 2005. Anyhow, I was just curious how many sites like this you bombard with ads involving how bad a student you are/were.
i have like a 3.49 weighted gpa. 2160 super score. 740 on biology subject test. i'm in the top 20% of my class. i got a 5 on the ap language, biology, world history exams. 4 on the us history. i competed in a french proficiency exam and im ranked 19th in the nation.
founded my youth group, currently a co-pres. (over 5 years)
volunteered two summers at local hospital (junior and senior year)
opinion editor for newspaper (junior and senior year)
relaunched a writing program at local hospital--write articles about patients. (senior year)
MUN- i've won three conference awards (junior and senior year)
cofounded WIN- raise money for battered women and children (junior and senior year)
shadowed doctors at university of michigan for a week. (senior year)
my grandfather started a cultural center and he's inspired me to open a free medical clinic.
both parents have 4 year degrees
im white (middle eastern), female, ca resident (la)
chance me please :) thanks!!
I have an unweighted 3.73 and a weighted 4.26, SAT is a 2180, and a ton of extracurricular activities including basketball, concert master orchestra, and a trip to Lima peru for medical work. what are my chances??
could someone please chance me? I have a 3.8 unweighted gpa, and 4.7 weighted gpa. thanks! :)
you'll get in.
I have a 3.73 weighted and a 1900. it said I have a 34% chance of getting in, but i don't really trust the accuracy.
I had a 4.02 with a 29 ACT and didn't get in. Good luck!
sounds about right.
Can someone please chance me ? I would love to know if I have a chance of getting accepted . Thank you :)
Can Someone Please chance me
2.95 gpa unweighted
Alll IB Classes
sorry buddy I really think you have no shot. Your GPA is far below the average and your SAT isn't very good either. I wouldn't even apply
PracTutor – an adaptive learning platform to help your kids in K12 master Math and English (Language Arts) www.practutor.com
Do I have any chance of getting accepted? I retook the SAT since the scores I have now are horrible (it was my first time taking it). So, hoping I did A LOT better.
Would anyone care to chance me? I want to know if I should visit the campus or not.
Hi, can someone please chance me. The only thing not in my profile that may or may not influence anything is I have a family member currently going to the school.
you're really hard to chance, mainly because your test scores do not match your class rank or gpa. USC is a school that really values standardized test scores, but with your GPA, class rank and legacy status I think you are more likely to get in than most. Maybe a 60-70% chance? Chance me back!
Could I get a chance anyone? I'd really appreciate it! Thank you.

could i get a chance?
Hi! It would be awesome if someone could chance me. Thank you :)
41.7.. Idts, lol, more like 11.7.
Dying to find out my decision!
I'm losing my mind over trying to get in here please chance me!
Accepted today! I had a 90.1% chance on here. I'm getting considered for half tuition scholarship.
Can you guys chance me please!
95.3% chance... that's cool!
1880, 4.4 GPA... 500 service hours.. 6 instruments.. music club chairman.. theatre... like 5,000 extra curricular hours total... think i'll get in as a business administration major? lol. maybe i should just go undeclared?
Can you guys chance me please. I have a 3.8, but my SAT's low. I have a range of extra curric's too.
answer bangalorep's question please!
so i applied and i got rejected and put into their transfer program, which is ok i guess.
but i had a 40% chance here and a 90% chance at uop, and i got denied there.
Maybe you made a mistake on your profile, or there were factors in it that were different (your highschool wasnt a feeder when you thought it was, state champion of some club which wasnt recognized by the college, school weighed GPA strangely). The system isnt perfect. Deal with it. Sorry you didnt get in, and good luck in the future
i heard it sucks in econ program.regret i applied there(
no, its because he's a beaner dumbshit.
I changed mine and it went up by 30%. That's just hilarious.
you also have a combined SAT of 2300. That's what gives you 99%.
My ethnicity is hispanic and my chances are 99.4 omgz.
Ha, I change my ethnicity to hispanic and my chances jump 21 %, that's messed up.
Well if you were a Hispanic student you would understand why. There is so much prejudice and expectation for you to fail. How would you feel if society looked down upon you academically? It is just more difficult to succeed.
at usc, connections have a lot of pull. i would give you a higher chance than 9%.
what does your aunt have to do anything with your chance to go into this university?
it's lower than my chance for nyu....o__O
where did u end up at?
it says 9% but my aunt is a vice president of the university?
72% chance? would i get in?
at least you guys have brains..i have money but no brains :(
my SATs are a disaster
I have a 95% chance. Will they give me a good financial aid package?
how do they even calculate this thing. I have a 58.2% at usc but a 65% at berkeley.
shouldn't it be the opposite? O.o
USC weights ACT and SAT scores more heavily. UCLA and Berkeley weight GPA more heavily.
91% at Michigan, but only a 33% at USC??
This is actually not that hard a school to get into. If you have a 42% chance, I would still apply for the sake of at least knowing. Look how many schools on my list I'm gonna get rejected from!
should i apply w/ 42% chance?
Does SAT2 Scores matter a lot for this school?
there is no way I have a 62% chance of getting in here when I only have a 47% at Georgetown
USC has always been my dream school, but unfortunately my family is in financial crisis, and my financial aid package was horrible. I thought that after getting accepted, I was gonna go for sure... oh well. looks like its New York University w/ scholarship for me.
o; thats horrible...have you tried looking at some of the outside scholarships available? if you have a college prowler account, you can look up scholarships that fit to your academic/personal profile..and since the FAFSA doesnt come out till January, you could be receiving more financial aid than you thought :D
and congrats btw!
there is not much of a difference between usc and ucsd in terms of academic quality. i would just go to ucsd. also, consider the steep differenec in tuition
I got in for Spring 2010... Does anyone think its worth it? or else I'm thinking of just going to UCSD
They barely gave me any financial aid also.
I got in YES, but me living in an average middle-class, how the hell am I supposed to pay for it? This sucks
