Two Can’t Miss Speakers at Parchment Summit

The inaugural Parchment summit, a day-long conversation focused on innovating academic credentials, will showcase two industry giants in the field of education and credentials, respectively. Set in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, Arthur Levine, President of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation and Anthony Carnevale, research Professor and Director of the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce will provide inspiring keynote commentary.

These industry influencers will help to spark discussion intended to foster collaboration around a rethink of credentialing. Levine and Carnevale have each authored numerous books and research including:

Academic credentials today share limited information about what graduates know and are able to do.  Parchment and Connecting Credentials National Dialogue – an initiative supported by Lumina Foundation – will bring together a cross-section of leaders and practitioners from higher education, philanthropy and technology for the Parchment Summit. In addition to Levine and Carnevale keynotes, the Summit will also feature panel discussions and workshops.
